If you have troubles since the update to WordPress 4.5 please read this post before opening a new thread.
I haver selected 2 small sidebars to be displayed in my site. I plan to use the second column for banners, and the first column for widgets.
The problems is the first column is not wide enough for a few widgets such as images, maps, social sharing, etc.
So I’d like to have 2 sidebars, but modify the first column width, is that possible?
I don’t know about codes, so I appreciate if you guide my step by step.
Unfortunately I’m not sure of a way to achieve this as the two columns are not named separately and are generated with the same code.
The idea has been brought up before to change the sidebar creation function to give them each a different class but I’m not sure if Kriesi will or will not be implementing it anytime soon.
Sorry about that and if you have any other issues please let us know and we’ll do our best to help.
