    In the home page slider I would like to control the size of the centered headline and set the text in the box to left justified. I am not much of a coder and can’t find class slidercontent anywhere.

    HELP!

    Love the theme: http://www.wrtobiasdesign.com/dev/

    Hey,

    1) to left align the text add following code to style.css (at the very bottom):

    .slideshow{
    text-align: left !important;
    }

    The nextgen stylesheet overwrites our slideshow code so you must add this code snippet :)

    2) Which headline are you refering to? If you mean the slideshow headline you can change the size by editing style.css. Search for:

    #top .sliderheading{
    display:block;
    font-size: 32px;
    font-weight: normal;
    }

    and change the font-size value.

    Thanks so much for the quick reply. I did find the .sliderheading font-size but just couldn’t figure out the other. I will try to change it now. Is there a way to keep the .sliderheading centered with the body copy flush left?

    Just noticed that you have a line to the left of Home in the top tabs. Client would like that as well. How to do?

    Found one fix. Ignore last request. Commented out the border:none in top .nav:

    /*

    #top .nav li:first-child a{

    border:none;

    }

    */

    Struggling with getting rid of black box titles over slider thumbs. Making a mess. Killed the title on slide 1 by putting a dash in the title and coloring it black. Nof the right way to do this, but I can’t figure out how to modify .slideThumbHeading and its friends.

    Please give a hint.

    Thanks much.

    Hey,

    To remove the “black box titles” for the slider thumbs, open up /framework/classes/kclass_display_slideshow.php and around line 182 you’ll find this code:

    $this->slider .= "<span class='slideThumbTitle'>n";
    $this->slider .= "<strong class='slideThumbHeading rounded ie6fix'>".get_the_title()."</strong>n";
    $this->slider .= "</span>n";

    Removing it will get rid of the titles and arrows.

    Is the code above in slideshow.php?

    Hey,

    In Avisio the code I posted above is in /framework/classes/kclass_display_slideshow.php. If you have any questions about this topic please ask them here; if you have questions about another topic please open another thread as it makes it much easier for users searching for answers in the long run.
