not a support questionAny idea why slideshow does not appear in the one-page-portfolio when i use codes:
[slideshow id=gallery2 w=250 h=150] for nextGen (does not even appear)
[monoslideshow id=gallery2 w=250 h=150] for Monoslideshow (flash movie doesn't load)
I have installed monoslideshow right, the NextGen gallery works ok, only have a problem with slideshow... So I doubt there is a jquery conflict here ..?!
Tested in the basic layout ( no one page and does not work either)

I have a similar issue with the Pixelentity Estro Slider and the Coalition Theme. In my case, it only effects the Ken Burns Effect of the slider in IE. All other major browsers are showing the effect beautifully.
Perhaps my input will help.
The Coalition theme is overwriting the estro slider's jQuery.fx.transform function per their support at: http://support.pixelentity.com/threads/174-IE-and-Ken-Burns-effect-problem.?p=733#post733
Is this an easy fix? How do I go about changing the theme code so this doesn't happen?
Or is there a way to enable the ken burns effect in the Coalition Theme on the native slider?
I have the slider and the Coalition theme loaded by themselves on a testing site http://www.crestwebservices.com/VanillaTestingSite/ -view the site in IE to see the problem.

I've purchased several of Kriesi's themes and I rarely have a problem I cannot handle. I even went to the maker of the slider first.
I just don't even know what I should do to resolve it in the theme.
I can give you credentials to get into my testing site if you like. It has just the slider and the theme installed.

hm the pixelentity forum suggests that something is overwriting their transition function. You can try to simply delete the contents of the aviationslider.js file in folder coalition/js/
Cant guarantee anything but it might do the trick.
However I dont have any cluse about the initial support request of the topic, sorry :/
Excellent. That handled it. I'm assuming if the native slider needs to be used again I will need to re-instate that code.
I couldn't help but notice that the aviationslider.js file had functions in it for a Ken Burn's effect. how would I turn those on for Coalition's slider if I wanted to?
