    Hello Kriesi team once again,

    url: https://thefoldlondon.com/checkout/

    I was wondering if there is possible to move the “Have a coupon” box, which currently sits on the top of the Checkout page, further down and just above the “Your order” box as show in this pic > http://screencast.com/t/9JYSMrnzC

    while also keeping it open all the time as displayed in the previous linked pic.

    Thank you so much for your help in advance.

    Best,

    Bill

    Hi Bill,

    The problem is that everything under the current location of the coupon box is a form, and the coupon box is a form as well, so placing the coupon form within the main page form would create invalid html.

    It is of course doable in a more complex manner with JavaScript, but would require the entire logic to be modified in multiple pages to ensure that clicking on the coupon button doesn’t accidentally trigger the ‘place order’ button and vice versa. Since this is the last page you would want something to go wrong, a lot of q/a testing would be required as well to ensure everything works on various operating systems and browser engines.

    Hello Nick thanx a lot for your answer. this is fair enough if this is not easily doable.

    But nevertheless can my second question be resolved? can I have the coupon input form open all the time? It seems that most of our clients that have coupons seem to miss that (really cannot tell why) so I need to make it a bit more obvious for them.

    Thank you a lot in advance,

    Best

    Bill

    Hey!

    Add following css code to css/custom.css:

    .checkout_coupon{
    display: block !important;
    }

    .showcoupon{
    display: none;
    }

    Regards,

    Peter
