If you have troubles since the update to WordPress 4.5 please read this post before opening a new thread.
Hi if you look at this page, http://www.softfocus.co.za/photography/portfolio-item/va-waterfront-cape-town/ you will see that I have 2 galleries.
The first is using the [gallery] and the second is from selecting ‘image list’ under Gallery Layout in the option of the post.
Now my question is, how can I move the second gallery to the location of the first, so that I can place it where I like on the page and not have it always default to the bottom. I like the larger images that the second shows but don’t like them below everything else
The gallery shortcode is part of the text content and if you want to display the gallery above the headline you’d need to display the entire post/portfolio text content above the headline. Maybe you can use the do_shortcode function in combination with the gallery shortcode (see http://codex.wordpress.org/Gallery_Shortcode ) but this would also affect ALL posts/portfolio entries.
