I've got images in galleries that I want to move to other pages. How do I do that without having to reload the images?

This is not possible. However you can try the tutorial here: http://www.kriesi.at/support/topic/how-to-use-the-%E2%80%9Cmedia-gallery%E2%80%9D-images-in-combination-with-flashlight - afterwards you'll be able to select existing images from the media gallery too.
