    I would like to move the navigation bars closer to the top of the page, as I feel they are too far down on the page for my needs. I was playing around with the css and I can’t seem to get the navigation set up properly. When i adjust the code, the lines don’t match up. Sorry i am new to the game.

    Thanks, Groonsy

    Hey,

    open up style.css and search for following code:

    .nav_wrapper{
    position: relative;
    height:36px;
    padding-top:88px;
    z-index: 6;
    }

    Descrease the padding-top value as you like i.e. change it from 88px to 38px.

    Maybe you need to adjust the logo posittion (move it up a bit) – search for followong code and set the “top” values to 0px if you like:

    #top .logo, #top .logo a{
    display:block;
    height:50px;
    width:300px;
    position:absolute;
    left:20px;
    top:13px;
    border: none;
    padding: 0;
    margin:0;
    z-index: 10;
    }

    #top .logo a{
    top:10px;
    left:0;
    outline:none;
    border: none;
    }

    Hey Dude, Thanks for the reply.

    I am still having an issue with the navigation bar. I was playing around with the settings, but i cannot get the top line of the navigation to align properly as it is now hidden under the bottom line. Any help would be great. I am also looking to center the ads on the side, any help would be great with that as well. Thanks so much!

    Here is the site i have uploaded to: jejuvacations.com

    Thanks

    Hey,

    the top line can’t be changed by css but you must resize/adjust the bg header.pg image: http://jejuvacations.com/wp-content/themes/newscast/images/skin3/bg.png

    You can find it in the folder wp-content/themes/newscast/images/skin3 – it’s called bg.png

    Just edit it with Photoshop or Gimp – you can also use the psd files which are part of your themeforest download package.

    I’ll answer the ads question in the other thread to avoid cross postings.
