This is my first WordPress site so I am learning as I go.
As a result, I did not know that I should work on the Enfold Child Theme rather than the Enfold Theme. I have learned that I began my site the wrong way by working directly on the Enfold Theme itself. So, I just uploaded the Enfold Child Theme.
Is there some way I can transfer what I have done on the Enfold Theme to the Child Theme without having to re-create my site? Then, would I just delete the pages I created from the Enfold Theme so they are not duplicated? My apologies for the “newbie” question but I am not sure how to go about this. Thank you.

You don’t have to re-create the Pages/Posts, your site content is bound to WordPress, not to the theme. However you’d need to pass the theme settings from the parent theme to the child, we included an utility that helps you with this:
Also, you may need to re-set your Menus and Widgets.
