    Pulling out my hair.

    http://washwaxworks.m-art.us/WashWaxWorks/portfolio-item/marty-ittner-4/

    We want the captions of the slideshow to flow beneath the art. Ditto the black directional arrows at the top.

    Nested divs, z-indexes, helper-slideshow php… I must be missing the obvious.

    Please help. Where and how?

    Hi barbwired,

    Try adding the following CSS to your Quick CSS (located under the Styling Tab in the theme options) or the custom.css file in the css folder of your theme files:

    .post-entry .slideshow_container .arrow_controls, .flex_column .slideshow_container .arrow_controls {
    top:auto;
    right:20px;
    bottom: -25px;
    z-index: 999;
    }

    Regards,

    Devin

    Hi Devin,

    Your suggestion worked for the control arrows, but I can’t make a similar style adjustment to the caption position. What am I missing?

    Thanks so much,

    Kindly disregard the PHP error. I’ve fixed that. DOH! Now, to the original issue.

    Thanks again.

    I didn’t understand what you mean originally with captions it seems, those wouldn’t be easily movable unfortunately. You would need to just not include them if you don’t want them over-top of the image.

    Thanks, Devin. Whew! I thought it was just me missing something obvious. On to Plan B.

    Sorry about that, hopefully you can find a solution that works for your layout :)
