   Hey

   Can I create my own png file to have it overlay my galley - to protect my images from beeing downloaded?

   If so... how do I do it? ( I uploaded the png file to the pattern catalogue - but I guess I have to do something else? )

   Check the feedback and any online reviews for the plugins that appeal to you the most.

   Plugins like Nextgen Gallery can add watermarks to thumbnails and fullsize images (even with a batch process). However be aware that you need to modify the source images - just a watermark "pattern" doesn't help because the user can save the original image (eg with a right click, etc.).
