I use WPML plugin, redirect plugin and wordpress seo by Yoast. These doesn’t seem heavy plugins

    I use small pictures

My hostcompany is versio, it seems fine by me

What can be the reason for such a slow loading (I tried chrome and internet explorer, not really a difference)?

To let the site go faster, I tried to install the plugin: W3 Total Cache, but I got the next error message:

/home/hotella66/domains/hotella66.sixtysix.axc.nl/public_html/wp-content/w3tc could not be created, please run following command:

    chmod 777 /home/hotella66/domains/hotella66.sixtysix.axc.nl/public_html/wp-content

What should I do to install the plugin?

    Hi Ambrosiahotel,

Its a really big broad answer on what can slow down a sites loading speed. Cache plugins like W3 are a good start but it may not work if you aren’t a little comfortable with it and knowing how to adjust the settings.

If you can provide a link to the site we can provide some recommendations but beyond that we may not be able to help very much.

    Regards,

    Devin

The plugin couldn’t create the needed folder. You need to set the folder “wp-content” within WordPress to permission 777 so that wordpress can create folders/modify files within itself.
