If you have troubles since the update to WordPress 4.5 please read this post before opening a new thread.
Hi I’m new to wordpress so I hope this is just Noob issue that can be resolved easily. but when I upload images that are 1100px wide to a full-width slideshow portfolio item page the image gets all pixelated… Its set to full size in the media library. is it possible its because the images in the slideshow are different heights?
If you added the image on a portfolio item it will be resize to 990px wide and the height will proportionately adjust to the width. You can find the code responsible for that on functions.php. Look for this code
$avia_config['imgSize']['fullsize'] = array('width'=>990, 'height'=>990, 'crop'=>false); // big images for lightbox and portfolio single entries
So how should I set up my image files. because even a 990px wide image looks all pixelated. is there a way I can avoid resizing? and the full-width slideshow looks like it displays the image 1050px wide.
nevermind figured it out. my images were much longer than 990px so i just had to adjust the height value. thanks ismael
