    Hi

    Some of the options in my second level nav bar have quite a few choices producing a long pulldown menu.

    Some page may well be very short and this means the menu appears behind the black footer bar. I am guessing this is some sort of z index issue but i am not sure what to change. you can see an example at:

    thanks

    I think you can fix it by changing this attribute in your style.css :

    #footerwrap {z-index: 5;}

    thank you – that pointed my in the right direction.

    The headerwrap and footerwrap were linked together so fixing one ruined the other so I split them out allowing mw to knock the footer back on its own:

    #headwrap{

    width:100%;

    clear: both;

    float: left !important; /* ie6fix */

    float: none;

    position: relative;

    z-index: 6;

    }

    #footerwrap{

    width:100%;

    clear: both;

    float: left !important; /* ie6fix */

    float: none;

    position: relative;

    z-index: 1;

    }

    Glad that you solved the problem.
