Hello, yesterday i got an email from my service provider stating that my site has been hacked and malware was installed. they closed the site down and gave me a report of the files affected. i have done a database and file restore to get the site back up and running and have deleted the affected plugins but i see some enfold files are on the list, i don’t know if the earlier version of the website that i reloaded is free from infection and was wondering if you could please have a look at the affected files to see if in fact they are OK or still infected. if they are please help me with this to clean the code that’s been affected. i have pasted the report that my provider sent me. please can you help me with this. and let me know what you need in order to do so. ( i have been told that your support is impeccable by fellow web designers, it one of the reasons i went with the enfold theme for all my websites.

    Hey darrel24,

I think the easiest solution to that would to try to overwrite the theme files with a fresh copy from your Themeforest account via FTP: http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/updating-your-theme-files/

That would ensure that all the theme files are overwritten and only contain code which should be there.

    Best regards,

    Hi,

Ok, thanks for the feedback. What are you using to scan the site? What code does the scan indicate as the problem? Did you check if the code indicated is present in the files you downloaded from Themeforest? If they are then you can ignore the warnings.

    Best regards,
    Rikard
