Need to change heading and excerpt font colors and background

Searched but got several conflicting references to what I need to do to change the font colors and possibly the background color for the accordion slider heading and excerpt area.

What file do I need to change? Change in code? Additions to code?

I am using the Newscast Minimal theme.

Hey,
you can change the headline/font colors in css/style3.css - the body text color can be found at the very top, the headline colors after following code:
```
/*generic*/
```
To change the bg color of the slider excerpt area search for following code in style3.css:
```
.position_excerpt, #top #featured .feature_excerpt {
background:none repeat scroll 0 0 #FFFFFF;
}
```
