I’ve been posting on this forum a few times with various problems but my questions have been unanswered. I’m still struggling and since I need to get the new website online by Monday, help would be greatly appreciated:
1) I want to make my videos bigger in the lightbox. I know this has been discussed elsewhere, but I’m a newbie with WordPress and don’t know where to find the code that will allow me to make them bigger, instead of having the lightbox sizing them down.
2) I also have the blurry thumbnail problem in the portfolio. I read it’s a because the browser resizes them. If I resize my thumbnails in Photoshop before uploading them, will it solve the problem? If so, where can I find the exact size of the thumbnails in pixels? (It’s a 4 columns portfolio).
Here’s the temporary link to the website
Many thanks in advance,

2.) To fix the blurriness of the thumbnail, you can do this. Open function.php and find this code
$avia_config['imgSize']['portfolio'] = array('width'=>465, 'height'=>346); // images for portfolio entries (2,3,4 column)
Below that add a new thumbnail size and name it “portfolio-thumb”. Adjust the width to 232px, note that this size is only good for the 4 column portfolio.
$avia_config['imgSize']['portfolio-thumb'] = array('width'=>232, 'height'=>173); // images for portfolio entries (2,3,4 column)
After that go to includes folder and edit loop-portfolio.php and find this code
$image_size = 'portfolio';
Replace it with the new thumbnail size that we just created.
$image_size = 'portfolio-thumb';
You need to regenerate the thumbnails. Remove history and reload the page.

To prevent lightbox from resizing your images and videos, open wp-contentthemesangularjsprettyPhotojsjquery.prettyPhoto.js and find this code
Set it to false

Hi Ismael and thanks for your quick reply,
I did 2) exactly as you described – but no change, the thumbnails become soft as soon as the page has finished loading.
As for 1), I replaced the JQuery file on my FTP with the info you gave me, no change either. I cleared history, made sure the embed video size was bigger than the lightbox, but the lightbox still keeps it at the same size. Please help,

For number 2 you need to regenerate the thumbnails or upload them again.
For the lightbox, I have no idea how to fix it so I think I will tag the rest of the support team to help you out.
