    Hi, I’m trying to arrange blocks in quite a simple manner but it just won’t seem to work. It’s quite a simple layout I’m trying to achieve but no matter what I do I can’t make it work

    Hey johnmac1967!

    Try this instead.

    1/3 + 2/3

    And then inside the 2/3 add a 1/1 and 1/2 + 1/2.

    Thanks Elliot. I tried that but no matter what I do I can’t get any block to go inside the 2/3. I can get a Special Heading or a Text block into it easily but not another Layout Element. Could you possibly try? It’s only a test page so not visible to anyone.

    Hi!

    Oops, sorry about that. Try switching to the default editor and use this.

    [av_one_third first]1st[/av_one_third]

[av_two_third]

[av_one_half first] 2nd - 1st [/av_one_half]

[av_one_half] 2nd - 2nd [/av_one_half]

[/av_two_third]

    Or if you want to keep using the advanced layout editor then try a grid row element and set the columns to 1/3 + 2/3. You should be able to add columns inside the grid row cells.
