New category in the Store menu

I have the shop demo installed and want to create new product categories. As I create a new category or products is Klarr . How do I get this category in the menu ? As Women or Men with the subgroups . In the pages or the menu structure I find no elements / pages I can add to the menu. Do I need special plugins to use the menu ? I need your help .
