    Hi!

I have created a new menu, but i need it to have its own categories, but its seems that when i create its categories they also apear in the main menu. In other words, how can i make some categories available to one menu and others o another menu?

    Greetings

    Hey,

through your Dashboard under Appearance > Menus you should be able to add/remove/reorder menu items in both of your menus as you wish. Adding/removing a category from one menu won’t do the same for the other menu you’ve created.

    Hi,

my problem is that it lets me select only “theme menu”, and even if i change the “category” menu (like in the template demo), it simply replicates the main menu..

Basically i get two menus that are exactly the same, and if I modify one, even the other gets modified.

here is an example of what I see: http://www.blendingpoint.com/wordpress/

And here is a screenshot of my backoffice that says: Your theme supports 1 menu. Select which menu you would like to use.

it just replicates twice the selected menu..

    Can you help me?

    Thanks!

    Hey,

Just navigate to Appearance –> menu to manage your wordpress menus

Once your there, simply create 2 menus and call the first one “First” and the other menu “Second”

Then, whatever items you add to the first menu, shows up on the first menu bar on the site, and the items on the menu called Second, show in the second menu bar. A short tutorial can be found here: http://www.kriesi.at/support/topic/i-can%E2%80%99t-create-a-custom-menu-the-menu-behaves-weird
