Just updated and i get this

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ‘{‘, expecting T_STRING or T_VARIABLE or ‘$’ in /home/retrofrocks/public_html/wp-content/themes/enfold/config-templatebuilder/avia-template-builder/php/html-helper.class.php on line 130

I had the same issue, as temp solution I’ve commented line #130 and #145 http://puu.sh/loRp8/5dd032dace.png in html-helper.class.php and my site again online.

    Same thing:

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ‘{‘, expecting T_STRING or T_VARIABLE or ‘$’ in /home/skinc/domains/skinc.hekko24.pl/public_html/wp-content/themes/enfold/config-templatebuilder/avia-template-builder/php/html-helper.class.php on line 130

Same error in here, I had to comment lines #130 and #145.
But this is just a temporary solution.
    So?

    Hi!

We have reported the issue to our devs and they were able to address the issue. It happens on older PHP versions. We are releasing a new update within few hours.
If your case is urgent, please refer to this workaround for now – https://kriesi.at/support/topic/new-update-crash/#post-537483

    Best regards,

Same Boat! Can anyone even log into WordPress to look at the code?

    #537559

    Hey!

You can go to wp-content/themes/enfold/config-templatebuilder/avia-template-builder/php/html-helper.class.php via FTP and make the changes. New update is waiting for Themeforest’s approval

    Cheers!

But I can’t log into wordpress.

    #537562

    Hey guys!

Found the problem. It is cause by servers running older php versions like 5.2.x
I have just uploaded an update to themeforest that will fix the issue. We are just waiting for approval by the themeforest team.

Meanwhile if you want you can replace the code in the file enfold/config-templatebuilder/avia-template-builder/php/html-helper.class with this one and it should fix the error: http://pasted.co/2c4788b8 (you would of course need to use a FTP tool for that)

    Cheers!
    Kriesi

PS: an easy and smart alternative would probably be to tell your hosting provider to update your servers php version to a more recent one. The one you are running was released in 2006, almost 10 years ago ;)

Will try and get the php updated. Thanks for a swift fix.

    Kind regards

    #537593

I’m running on 5.3.28 (which is from 2013) and experience the crash.

    #537599

    Hey!

update has been approved on themeforest. I am afraid you will need to do an ftp update to the latest version or at least apply the manual fix above to be able to access the backend properly.

    Cheers!
