Got an email for an update on these themes. What updates are included in the new one? Suggestions for doing the update since there is no Auto update? Will this effect anything on my current sites?

Thanks for guidance you can provide!

Suggestions for doing the update since there is no Auto update?

Use ftp and upload the entire theme folder (or only the update files/folders) to your server.

Will this effect anything on my current sites?

Yes, if you modified the theme files. In this case I’d recommend to make a backup of the old theme files first, then upload the new, update theme files/theme folder and redo the modifications/customization. If you didn’t modify the theme files just overwrite the old files and everything should work flawlessly…

I have not modified any files..but have some custom styles. Will these be affected?

    Thanks!

If you inserted the code into the quick css field the custom styles won’t be affected. If you added the code to custom.css you need to make a backup of this file, then install the new theme files and then replace custom.css with your version (which contains your custom css code).
