Can you guide me on using News Slideshow option and NOT display the publish date. How about is it possible to make it auto-rotate too.

You can remove the date from the News Slides by opening up /framework/classes/kclass_display_slideshow.php finding and removing this code:
$this->slider .= "<span class='sliderdate'>".get_the_time('M d, Y')."</span>";I don't believe the News Slideshow does auto rotate but will ask Kriesi to comment on this because the Options Panel suggests it might :)

Any word on the auto rotate for the news slider? I would really like to know the code to implement this :)

Hey,
Auto rotation is not currently supported, though it may be considered as part of a future update :)
