must be my lousy eyes, bbut I can not find the css-entry where edit the appearance of bulleted list. In Newscast I'd rather have a * bullet* and no lines for my lists - where & how can I modify this? I have an png-image for the bullet-to-be-used ;D

You need to change two css entries in your style3.css:
.sidebar .box li a, .box .recentcomments, .entry ul li {
background:transparent url(../images/skin3/bullet1.png) no-repeat scroll 0 12px;
border-bottom:1px solid #D6D6D6;
}
#top .entry ul li {
background:transparent url(../images/skin3/bullet1.png) no-repeat scroll 0 9px;
}to something like:
.sidebar .box li a, .box .recentcomments{
background:transparent url(../images/skin3/bullet1.png) no-repeat scroll 0 12px;
border-bottom:1px solid #D6D6D6;
}
.entry ul li {
background:transparent url(../images/skin3/YOUR-IMAGE.png) no-repeat scroll 0 12px;
/* border-bottom:1px solid #D6D6D6; --- no lines */
}
#top .entry ul li {
