I have placed the "Newscast Sidebar News" widget in the home page. I have selected a category that I want it to show posts from, however it is showing posts from all categories even after type in the name of just one category.
Please advise and thank you for providing support on this theme.

You need to use the category ID not the name. If you're using more than 1 category separate them by comma like this:
1,10,22

I have a couple of problems.
1. the home button goes to about
2. the main logo doesn't link
3. the advertisement widget- one is supposed to be in the left hand column and the rest in the right hand column- but the right hand column ends up on the very bottom of the left column.
