Hello:

I want to install the newsletter and a widget text in the front page.
Exactly in the same position you installed in the example page.
I have the WP Newsmanlite all ready install in the page.
Can you explain me the steps to do it.

1) Go to Replete > Template Builder and create a new template.

2) Add a "columns element" to the template and choose a 2 columns layout and "widget" as content for both columns. Don't forget to set a widget area name for both widget areas.

3) Save the template and go to Appearance > Widgets. There you'll notice that two new widget areas will be displayed in the right sidebar. Drag'n'drop your text & newsletter widgets into the right widget areas.

4) Then go to Pages > View all and select your homepage/front page and edit it. Assign your new template you created in step 1) to the page and save the page. That's it.

Hi.

What I need to to do is to place in the column 1 the category "new products" of the store. Using the 75% of the space.
And in the column 2 the widget of newsletter. Using the 25% of the space.
Just exactly the same way you did it in the example page.

The problem is that the page do not show the "new products category" it only shows the newsletter.

Hi especta,

In the template builder you should have a Frontpage template that was created when you first installed the theme. In that template, the Products element should be set so that a sidebar is forced. So all you need to do to add the newsletter box into the sidebar is go to Appearance>Widgets and add the widget to the Shop Overview Page widget area.

I just did what you tell me, but it doest´n work.

I will explain what I need to do:

A) Slideshow
B) Heading titled "Featured Products"
C) Products in 3 columns.
D) A Heading titled "Our most recent collections"
E) 3 Products USING THE 75% OF THE SPACE.
F) The newsletter widget USING THE 25% OF THE SPACE.
G) E) 3 Products USING THE 75% OF THE SPACE.
H) The text widget USING THE 25% OF THE SPACE.
I) Heading called "Recent Blog entries"

ETC.

In the web I´m doing my clients wants exactly the same.

BUT...

When I tried to do the point E, F, G, H.

E) 3 Products USING THE 75% OF THE SPACE.
F) The newsletter widget USING THE 25% OF THE SPACE.
G) E) 3 Products USING THE 75% OF THE SPACE.
H) The text widget USING THE 25% OF THE SPACE.

I can not do it... I have tried a lot of ways... Even the one you send me before.

Can you pass me exactly the configuration of your ELEMENTS OF THE FRONT PAGE PLACE IN THE EXAMPLE YOU DID:

This is how the template looks from the demo:

So in the template itself, you are *NOT* adding a widget area or anything like that to the product section. You are just making the product section show a sidebar using that one element and then in then adding the widget in the Widgets area to the Frontpage sidebar area.
