    hi, my domain is optimalclinical(dot)com

    Our home page is set up to allow 10 posts per page, additional pages are placed on pages 2 and 3 automatically by the theme, when we click pages 2 or 3 the site just refreshes the home page, rendering additional posts inaccessible through the home page. I have searched for fixes but can find none on the forums, any help would be greatly appreciated

    thanks

    Hi,

    have you changed your permalink structure recently? Maybe this can help you. Let me know if this helps.

    hi Chris, unfortunately changing the Permalink structure did not fix this.

    It was originally /%category%/%postname%/ and I changed it to /%year%/%monthnum%/%postname%/

    Also I believe that Permalinks affect the post url’s, I am referring to the pages e.g. the home page, at the moment the home page has 40 items, since I have limited the home page to display 10, it has split the content into 4 pages, page 1 is accessible, the other pages are not

    Any help you can offer would be greatly appreciated

    thanks

    Hi, I have also tried deleting the contents of the .htaccess file and updating the permalinks to recreate the contents of the file but no luck :-( still not working

    Could this be a ‘query_posts() Pagination problem’? http://stylizedweb.com/2008/08/13/query_posts-pagination-problem/

    im not sure which file to update and where to paste the code

    <?php if (have_posts()) : ?>

    <?php query_posts(“category_name=somecat”); ?>

    <?php while (have_posts()) : the_post(); ?>

    replace with

    <?php if (have_posts()) : ?>

    <?php $paged = (get_query_var(‘paged’)) ? get_query_var(‘paged’) : 1; query_posts(“category_name=somecat&paged=$paged”); ?>

    <?php while (have_posts()) : the_post(); ?>

    thanks

    How did you set the frontpage blog? Did you try to use the theme options panel (Corona > General Options) to set the front page/blog page? If not please try to set the front page there. If you set the front page via theme options panel try to set it with WP – go to Settings > Reading > “Set static frontpage”.

    hi Dude, thanks, I set the frontpage via both the Corona > Gen Options (Select which page to display on your Frontpage) and the WP>Settings>Reading (I set it as the Front page:)

    unfortunately still not working

    thanks

    hi, is there no solution for this?

    thanks

    #58194

    Solution found :-)

    I had set ‘both’ front pages from the theme options panel (Corona > General Options) and the WP – go to Settings > Reading > “Set static frontpage”

    For the home page to pagenate properly only the the theme options panel (Corona > General Options) should have the homepage set, the WP – go to Settings > Reading > “Set static frontpage” should be left blank/default.

    :-)
