NextGen and Newscast compatible (again)?

Hi Support,

after a quick search on this I got the impression those two don't work together well, and I had some problems, too. So I turned the plugin off, again.
Is that still the case (being incompatible?)

Can you recommend another plugin instead?

I need at least the possibility to organize pictures by author or topic and things a like.
I don't need fancy galleries and a million different options like nextgen offers, though.

Any infos and suggestions on this?

Hi Boris,

I'm not sure which issues NextGen and Newscast have but there are more plugins available than we can ever get acquainted with so the best advice I can give is to find one that matches what you are looking for and give it a try.
