If you have troubles since the update to WordPress 4.5 please read this post before opening a new thread.
When I add a new page I don’t get the Dynamic Page Template selection, I only get the standard Page Template selection.
I get the dynamic one under Portfolio items but not Pages, so obviously can’t create a front page using a dynamic template.
Is there something I’m doing wrong here?
are you certain you’re following the right process? First you can use the template builder to build a template, save it. Then you can create a page and select your newly created (and saved) template to your page. This should do the trick.
Thanks for the response. Yep, I use Brightbox for another website and haven’t had any issues with that.
I create the Template and save it. Create a new page, but I don’t have the dynamic templates available only the standard templates.
It looks a little strange – below the “Overwrite default Page Layout” box inside the Page Layout box is an empty grey box where I assume the dynamic template should be.
Could this possibly be a conflict in CSS or something?
My confusion, doh ! The Page layout box has options –
Big preview image, left sidebar
Big preview image, right sidebar
I didn’t see this last option, and when I select it, of course, the dynamic template box shows.
