If you have troubles since the update to WordPress 4.5 please read this post before opening a new thread.
I have a two part question. Let memo ownif I should create two separate posts.
Part 1: My sidebar is showing up on my contact page yet I want it to display full width. If I choose “Full Width” from the Page options, I Ioose the contact form. If I choose “Contact” layout, it adds the sidebar. Any ideas?
Part 2: the images that I add in-line along with text for static pages or blog posts (anywhere actually) all show a magnifying glass when you mouse over them, and will expand to a larger image when clicked on. I don’t want this and just want images to sit alongside. Note that I’m not referring to the “Featured Images” which can be controlled to turn on or off the lightbox effects.
Thanks in advance.
Part 1: Make these two changes to file template_contact.php
near the top
<div class="wrapper" id='wrapper_main'>
<div class="wrapper fullwidth" id='wrapper_main'>
towards the bottom
Part 2: Are you no longer having this issue? I see posts like this one are not exhibiting this behavior
I am having the same problem with my images that are in my posts. Can you tell me how to keep the images from being “lightbox” images?
I figured it out…. For some reason, when I insert images into a page, by default it creates a link, which then makes the image into a lightbox image. Removing the link code fixes things.
I just learned the same thing in a different way based on Noah’s comment above. That link to my site you paste Noah, was a page from the dummy data included in the Habitat theme and not from my library.
When you add an image in from your media library as a self contained images, it shows the image preview magnifying glass. When you add the image as a URL from your library, it doesn’t.
