    Hi,
    In this post: https://kriesi.at/support/topic/help-with-noindex-and-seo-settings/
you were helping me set a “noindex” for my site, and just have a “coming soon” page
while I build the site behind it. As predicted, google is not indexing the coming soon page
as it should, but I still have a few pages that are being indexed which allow access to the site.
    see here: http://imgur.com/tywbc9i
Can you see why these pages are being indexed? The main domain is andesworldtravel.com which
points to the andes-world-travel.flywheelsites.com site – the address these pages are indexing from.
I know I can use a 301 redirect to target them and redirect back to my “coming soon” page, but I’d also like
to understand what’s happening here, and also make it easy when the site launches and I need it
to show up in google again.
    thanks
    Nancy

    Hello,

We’re not exactly seo experts but i think if you really don’t want crawlers to index your site i’d suggest using a robots.txt approach instead.
