    Hello,

    I am trying to get the inserted photo on this page to not open in Lightbox or be clickable at all..

    http://christopherferreira.com/stage/category/portfolio/the-shift-movie-soundtrack/

    I inserted the photo and here is link code:

    <a href="http://christopherferreira.com/stage/wp-content/uploads/2010/12/Shift-Thumnail1.jpg"><img src="http://christopherferreira.com/stage/wp-content/uploads/2010/12/Shift-Thumnail1.jpg" alt="" title="Shift Thumnail" /></a>

    Can someone help me with where to put the ‘noLightbox’ in this? I have tried but haven’t got results.. I know I am showing my ignorance!

    Thanks

    Use following code to add a class:

    class="noLightbox"

    i.e. like:

    <a href="http://christopherferreira.com/stage/wp-content/uploads/2010/12/Shift-Thumnail1.jpg" class="noLightbox"><img src="http://christopherferreira.com/stage/wp-content/uploads/2010/12/Shift-Thumnail1.jpg" alt="" title="Shift Thumnail" /></a>

    So you need to add the class to the a href element.

    Glad that I could help you.

    How can you set this for ALL of your blogs?

    #38202

    So you want to remove the lightbox for all images?

    Hi Dude,

    I’m joining the conversation because I’d like to remove the lightbox on all images (I’m using the nextgen gallery plugin already).

    Thanks in advance for your prompt answer.

    I’m looking for the same thing as OAXUS.

    Open up js/custom.js and delete following code:

    // activates the lightbox page
    my_lightbox("a[rel^='prettyPhoto'], a[rel^='lightbox']",true);

    I’ve added the class=”noLightbox” to my images that I don’t want to open in lightbox and they still do. What can I do to prevent this?

    Image example: <img src="http://renaissancebloke.com/singularsoftware/wp-content/uploads/2012/01/thumbs-product-logos-pluraleyes.png" class="noLightbox" alt="" width="210" height="140" />

    The url: http://renaissancebloke.com/singularsoftware/products/

    You need to add the noLightbox class to the a href element and not to the image itself. Eg if the code looks like:

    <a href="your link"><img src="http://renaissancebloke.com/singularsoftware/wp-content/uploads/2012/01/thumbs-product-logos-pluraleyes.png" class="noLightbox" alt="" width="210" height="140" /></a>

    change it to:

    <a href="your link" class="noLightbox"><img src="http://renaissancebloke.com/singularsoftware/wp-content/uploads/2012/01/thumbs-product-logos-pluraleyes.png" class="noLightbox" alt="" width="210" height="140" /></a>
