    I upgraded to WordPress 4.0 and I am using Enfold 2.7.1. I am not able to add any new elements (content, media, etc). I get the box that give me the options and then I can’t save it. I also can’t update my home page that has these elements. The page keeps hanging. I have a new slider that I need to add and other updates. Please let me know how to fix this. Will installing the new version help?

    Yes, updating the theme to the latest version 3.0.2 via FTP should solve the issue – http://vimeo.com/67209750
    Version 2.7.1 is not compatible with WordPress 4.0

    Thanks – is there a way to install the new version form wordpress or is ftp the only way

    Hey!

    You can install the theme via WordPress but since you are using a fairly old version, we would recommend updating the theme via FTP and making sure to overwrite all files
