Not receiving lost password or new registration emails

Hi

I am receiving emails from the contact form on my site but if I register a new account , that email doesn't receive an email with their account details on it. If I fill out the email address on the 'lost password' page, I don't receive an email either.

Also is there any way to integrate the lost password page so that it doesn't direct you off to the wordpress login?

*UPDATE*
I'm now receiving emails but not to my work emails but this could be down to a spam filter. Would be great if a couple of people could test this out for me though.

I received an email to reset account on gmail, and it got passed the spam filter.
