    It’s not scrambled pr0ns I promise ;)

    Randomly, the gallery just glitches like this: …and it’s not too terribly uncommon.

    Also, sometimes the gallery is completely black and part of the wording in the mini-content box is missing: (there’s a “welcome” missing). If I click to resize my broswer window, the images appear again, but when I click maximize, back to black it goes.

    This seems to only happen in Chrome.

    did you try to deactivate the nextgen slideshow scripts, etc. – they may conflict with our theme. You can deactivate them with following code (add it to functions.php):

    define('NGG_SKIP_LOAD_SCRIPTS', 'true');

    I deactivated Nextgen and I haven’t seen the crazy scrambled images. But I an still getting that problem where part of a title in mini-content is blank (it is showing up in the page source though).

    The crazy scrambles are still appearing :(

    Again, chrome only it seems.

    I don’t know. Honestly I’d start over with a fresh WordPress installation & a clean installation of the theme, then fill your site with content & afterwards start adding plugins – so you’ll know if one messes up the styling.
