    I resized the slider as per the instructions in other threads. I also resized the images that display in it.

    I seem to be getting an odd ‘shifting’ effect though when the slides show. If you view the page here, you can see the slides initially appear as the correct size, but then sort of flash/do a transition and zoom in and shift to the right.

    Can you tell me what the problem could be? I am guessing I might be missing something simple. I’d love to get this resolved as soon as I can because it’s the only issue preventing the site from going live.

    Thanks a ton.

    I believe you may need to change the feature image size in “functions.php” to match the image size in the slider:

    Around line 12:

    $k_option = array(‘width’=>70, ‘height’=>50); // small preview pics eg sidebar news

    $k_option = array(‘width’=>192, ‘height’=>130); // medium preview pic for portfolio with 4 columns

    $k_option = array(‘width’=>274, ‘height’=>170); // medium preview pic for portfolio with 3 columns

    $k_option = array(‘width’=>436, ‘height’=>230); // medium preview pic for portfolio with 2 columns

    $k_option = array(‘width’=>574, ‘height’=>268); // image for blog posts and 1 column portfolio

    $k_option = array(‘width’=>940, ‘height’=>440); // big images for fullsize pages and mainpage slider

    Change the big images line to match the change you made to the featured image.

    Them remove all the slider images and re-import them. (make the actual images the correct size in your image editor before importing)

    This is my best guess; as I had to do this for my site also; I resized the slider images as well.

    Thanks!

    That worked! This step should probably be added to the thread about resizing the slider.
