   How can I add an offset of 5 to the posts on the frontpage?

   Hi!

   In index.php replace:
   

   $additional_loop = new WP_Query("cat=".$negative_cats."&paged=$paged");

   with:
   

   $additional_loop = new WP_Query("cat=".$negative_cats."&offset=5&paged=$paged");
