I'm a complete newb to using Wordpress (know enough HTML and CSS to be dangerous) and this is the first theme I've purchased. I am trying to use your template and work backwards to insert content/set up structure and understand how everything works. I deleted my whole wp-content folder and deleted all my pages/tags that I had prior to installing this theme to start fresh. I installed the theme and went into setup to insert the template content but when I visit the website ( mattpaulus.com ) I only have one page (home) and I am getting a 404. What is going on here? Can you give me a step by step process for starting from scratch?
