No matter what I do, I still can’t get more than one image to “stick” in the Featured Media slideshow. I have DELETED every plugin besides Akismet, Jetpack and the bbPress software. The only widget active is the Choices Twitter Widget. Theme is version 1.5.0. (NOTE: Even when I deactivated Akismet and Jetpack, nothing was fixed)
I’ve tried selecting from the media library or uploading fresh images at the time I create the page. I see multiple images on the design page, but the minute I publish, it drops to one image. I’m not even trying to do anything fancy.
I just create a new page, give it a title and then add media to Featured Media. Slideshow is set to fade, autorotate and 5 sec.
What am I doing wrong?September 12, 2012 at 6:00 am #90726
UPDATE: I was checking all kinds of background things and found that the PHP was still 5.2, but even with the update to 5.3, it is still broken.
The minute you click SAVE DRAFT on a page, the slideshow drops to one image.
Also… Odd quirk… When you go to the Media Library and add images to the slideshow (by clicking “Add to Slideshow” buttons on right side) and you click SAVE ALL CHANGES button at bottom of window, it changes the name of the “Add to Slideshow” button to “Add to Gallery.” This has no impact on the multi-image issue, but it seems odd. Perhaps a clue to the bug?September 13, 2012 at 6:27 pm #90727
Very odd. Can you create a temporary admin account for me so that I can login and take a look at what is going on.

Info sent to your Gmail.
I also noticed that the Template Builder won’t let me add or edit more than one Element.
As I mentioned before, I updated the PHP to 5.3 from 5.2. I also deleted the 1.40 theme and installed the 1.50. In every one of those cases, the slideshow behavior was the same.
