    Hello!
I am setting up a gated download, where people have to enter an email address to get a free guide, using Gravity Forms. I set up the Gravity Forms confirmation to redirect to an attachment page url, and I used the Quick Redirects plugin to redirect that url to the .pdf file, so on successful submission, the .pdf automatically opens.

Perfect, except for one problem– if they want to return to the site after downloading the guide, they have to click the browser back button twice fast enough to get back past the redirect to the document, terrible user experience.

So I want to get this .pdf to open in a new window– how do I do that?

I have tried adjusting the settings in the Quick Redirects plugin to enable jquery and check the setting to open the redirect from attachment page to .pdf in a new window, but it doesn’t work.

Do you have any ideas on how I can achieve this?

Thanks in advance for any help you can give!

    Hey Julie,

    Thank you for using Enfold.

Instead of automatically redirecting the user to the pdf page, redirect them to a page with the link to the pdf file. They can open the link in a new tab manually or add a target attribute to the link code. http://www.w3schools.com/tags/att_a_target.asp

    Best regards,
    Ismael
