    Hi there,

    I’m doing some heavy customisation of Abundance (a bit of a total conversion really). I need to override the CSS for the main menu, but when I do this from custom.css the changes aren’t getting applied. It seems something is applying styles at a higher level than custom.css.

    I’m assuming there’s some JavaScript somewhere that’s adding the Avia divs at runtime and applying the styles directly on the elements or inline on the page. How do I get round this? I don’t mind losing the option to upgrade the theme if I have to edit a JS file somewhere.

    Cheers,

    Dave

    Hi Dave,

    You can use the !important, to avoid your css code from being overriden. This is an example on how to use the !important:

    .selector {
    font-size: 12px !important;
    }

    This will prevent other styles from overriding the .selector’s font-size from changing. Hope this will help you. :)

    Cheers,

    Ismael
