    Hi there,

    since last theme update (1.6) and the update to wordpress 3.6 all the page subtitels, not the homepage one set in the wp settings, but all the others are gone.

    Does anyone had that problem or has an idea?

    Thanks a lot!

    Hi,

    Please edit header.php. Check if you still have this line of code:

    if(!empty($avia_config['deactivate_seo']))
    {
    $avia_page_title = wp_title('', false);
    }
    else
    {
    $avia_page_title = get_bloginfo('name') . ' | ' . (is_home() ? get_bloginfo('description') : wp_title('', false));
    }

    echo "<title>$avia_page_title</title>";

    Regards,

    Ismael

    Hi,

    those lines of code were still inside my header.php!

    Anyway, I replaced my lines with your code to make sure it’s exactly the same as you recommended.

    But still no page subtitels.
    Is there another approach to this issue?

    Thanx,
    Tim

    Hi Tim,

    I’m not sure why they wouldn’t be showing all of a sudden but you can use something like Yoast SEO to be able to set them all manually and get a bit more control over them.

    If you already have any kind of SEO plugin installed it may be that the last SEO update to the theme changed it to recognize the plugin so that you now need to manually add them.

    Regards,

    Devin

    Hi Devin,

    okay, I might give it a try with Yoast.

    Thanks for the quick and easy support!

    Cheers,
    Tim
