If you have troubles since the update to WordPress 4.5 please read this post before opening a new thread.
How do I add a description to my page title?
When you look at any of my pages the page title (in the grey bar of the browser window) shows the name of the site and the page name, but on my home page it only shows the site name.
It looks like this “GA Creative | ” I want it to look like this “GA Creative | Change the game”.
Maybe you want to use plugins like http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/wp-title-2/.
Thanks–unfortunately the plug in doesn’t seem to work but I appreciate your help.
I’d suggest to use a seo plugin like: http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/wordpress-seo/
In header.php replace following line:
<title><?php bloginfo('name'); ?> | <?php is_home() ? bloginfo('description') : wp_title(''); ?></title>
<title><?php wp_title(''); ?></title>
because WP SEO will take care of the title text.
