I’m using my blog as the homepage on My version of Display is 1.3. My version of WP is 3.2.1.

The pagination is busted…meaning that only the homepage shows, yet the header suggests that it’s showing pages 2, 3, etc.

Per your suggestion elsewhere on the forum, I tried WP-paginate plugin v.1.2.3 — without success.

I noted also that you recommended to another Display user that he should upgrade from 1.3 to 2.0

I’ve downloaded the new files, but am uncertain as to how to proceed. I’m only an intermittent coder and too old to remember beyond yesterday. I’ve done a lot of tweaks to my CSS and am concerned that upgrading will wipe those out.

My main objective is to restore the pagination so that visitors can cruise my older posts. Happy to upgrade if that is the fix. Just don’t want to have to do a bunch of coding to restore the look of the site after the upgrade.

Thanks in advance for your time and specific suggestions as to how to proceed.

You can use the changelog (version.rtf) to replace the updated (modified) files only. If you’d like to upload all theme files make a backup of your current theme folder and especially of style.css and the css folder (which contains style1.css, style2.css, etc.). Then upload the new theme files. You can use tools like notepad++ to compare your modified stylesheets to the unmodified/updated ones.
