We're using QUICK ADSENSE plugin to insert an advertisement slot right at the bottom of our individual posts (see example here: http://broadwaysbestshows.com/buzz/news/2012/10/12/10-broadway-television-commercials/ ). I'm looking for the code to /how to move the Pagination coding in the theme to be above this ad rather than below so it is a bit easier for readers to find. Thanks for any advice!

I'm not sure there is anything that can be done actually. The code for the single post and pagination is just the_content immediately followed by the pagination. So since the ad is getting added after the_content I'm not sure there is anything we can do to interact with it.
You could try adding some css to highlight the pagination a bit more. Try adding the following CSS to your Quick CSS (located under the Styling Tab in the theme options) or the custom.css file in the css folder of your theme files::
.pagination_split_post {
display: block;
border: 1px solid #ccc;
padding: 3px;
height: 27px;
background-color: #E4E2E2;
