    Hello Kriesi Team,

    I have a little problem with the paginierung. On my Landing page are a lot of deals, so i have a activate a paginierung. The Problem is, that only the first page – the landing page, should be index by google, not page 2,3,4 and so on. How do i make it, that only the first page, the landing page is index by google?

    Hey steps3011,
    Edit your robots.txt like this:

    User-agent: *
Disallow: /
Allow: /index.php
Allow: /$

    If you want your sitemap indexed you’ll need to add that also.

    Hey Mike,
    Im Sorry for my late answer.
    I do not find the robots.txt. In wich Folder i can find the robots.txt?

    I have another Question too.

    I described my category “Haushaltsgeräte” with a long text. But the text should be Displayed under the last posts. In the Archive pages i made id, but i do not find the folder and the code, to change it like on the archive sites.

    I will give you two exmaples. The first one is how it should looks and the secound one should look like the first one.

    Hi,

    Thank you for the update.

    1.) The robot.txt file should be added or created in the WP root directory. More info here:

    // https://support.google.com/webmasters/answer/6062596?hl=en
    // http://tools.seobook.com/robots-txt/generator/

    It’s just a text file that controls how search robots/crawlers interact with the site.

    2.) The archived pages look the same. Is this fixed?
