I’m creating pages and choose a parent page; but the URL generated remains site.com/sub-page instead of site.com/parent-page/sub-page.
Whether I force it to site.com/parent-page/sub-page or not, it shows a 404 error when the page has a parent page…
I don’t have so many plugins installed: WP WPML, SEO and Google analytics…
What do you think?
have you tried using a different theme (for example the default theme) and reproduce the issue? If the problem is the same with the default wordpress theme its pretty sure that its not a theme issue but rather a plugin issue. maybe the interplay of one or more plugins prevents something from working.
You might also want to try to deactivate the plugins one by one to see if any of them is causing the problems.
Thanks for your answer.
It could be because the pages I created and applied the parenting were blank…
It’s working now…
