    Hello there,

    Thanks for a great theme and your customer support.

    I launched my new website with Enfold and built it in WP 3.6.1. I would like to upgrade to 3.9.2 and not have any issues with customizations I have made to the theme not carrying over when I update.

    After researching, I found that you can set up a parent/child theme so that I can upgrade without losing anything.

    Can you please provide me with instructions and anything else I should know before attempting an upgrade?

    Should I upgrade my theme as well? (my current version is 2.2)

    Hi!

    First of all, make a backup of what you have right now, then update WordPress (3.9.2) and the theme (2.9.2) to their the latest versions.

    Hi Josue,

    If I do it this way, won’t I lose the custom CSS I’ve made to the theme?

    Hey Adamantum!

    If your custom CSS was put in Quick CSS only you shouldn’t worry but that, nevertheless i highly suggest to do a backup of your /wp-content folder before.

    Hi!

    WordPress first, then the theme. Also, update any plugins that may have updates available.
