    Hi,

I was changing the URL setting and ended up with this error:

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_OBJECT_OPERATOR in /homepages/12/d333782215/htdocs/webdev/lkbaweb/wp-content/themes/brightbox/brightbox/framework/php/class-framework-widgets.php on line 610

Any idea on how I can go about fixing this?

I am also running into trouble when pointing my server to the directory where I have wordpress installed in order to launch the page. It loads the page but not the custom style sheet. Can you tell me what I may be doing wrong?

    Thanks

    Hey,

did you change the server too? If yes make sure that it runs Php 5.2+ and WP 3.1.3+ .

No, I didn’t make any changes to the server. Just working from the settings panel in wordpress.

Please check if your server runs with php 5.2 – another user reported exactly the same error via twitter: http://twitter.com/#!/Kriesi and solved it by switching to php5.

ok will give that a try

Thank you that fixed the parsing error, I appreciate that.

I’m still have trouble with the custom.css and dynamic template.

    I had a “dummy” site in a folder “root/website”

and was building the wordpress site in “root/website/wordpressite”

When I try to have the server point the URL to the “root/website/wordpressite” location the custom.css and tynamic templates won’t load.

    Any ideas?

You need to search and replace all domain entries/occurrences in your database. You can use tools like: http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/search-and-replace/
