Is there any way to password protect categories in the woo commerce shop using enfold?
I have tried a few plugins and they all have issues. I want to be able to password protect a client photo gallery, but it needs to be in the shop as they can purchase the prints from there. I can set up a page and protect it with a gallery but then they can’t add to cart from there

I’m not sure if it’s possible to password protect an archive or category page but there is an available plugin. You might want to try it out: http://shop.mgates.me/shop/wc-products/wc-password-protect/
Another thing that you can do is to remove all possible links to the default category pages then create your own category pages using the Product Grid elements. Set passwords for these pages.

Thanks for that, I actually stumbled across that Product Grid etc that you recommended and it works great
I had previously purchased that plugin and it is rubbish. It wiped all my product from the password protected gallery. I then went to their forum there was a line of code to fix. It worked however it duplicated all product pictures and the password login. It also only password protects every item in the product category not the product category itself. From reading their support pages the developer has run into some hard times and disappeared since May so I probably wouldn’t be recommending that plugin. Sad whatever has happened but not much good for a consumer who purchases
