    Hi There,

    I would like to put the pattern overlay “diagonal-wide-left-to-right.png” on top of the dark.css skin for the menu sidebar.
    My css, and html skills are fairly minimal so the closest I have managed to is modifying my custom.css to :

    .box{
    background: #111;
    background: url(../images/patterns/diagonal-wide-left-to-right.png) 0 0 repeat;
    }

    however that also affects the content boxes, and it doesn’t overlay just replaces the bg color. Is there a better way of doing this?

    thanks,

    Hey chromavfx!

    Please use this:

    .sidebar .box {
    background: #111;
    background: url(../images/patterns/diagonal-wide-left-to-right.png) 0 0 repeat;
    }

    Cheers!
    Ismael

    Hi Ismael,

    thanks or the fast response, that gets me halfway there.
    I actually want to keep the original color as the background, but add the diagonal lines as another layer.

    cheers,

    Hi!

    You can try something like:

    .inner_sidebar {
    background: rgba(44, 33, 33, 0.44);
    }

    And adjust the rgba value for your color and transparency.

    Regards,
    Devin
